Bena Jewelry founder Victor Benaderette was born in Paris and grew up surrounded by an artistic and fiercely resilient family. His zeal for creative pursuits was developed through observing his mother and grandmother, who are passionate painters. Building on the tenacious spirit of his ancestors and an awareness of the importance of aesthetic in defining desires, Victor has honed a meticulous and inventive design ethos. His various experiences working in the realms of art and fashion have taken him around the world, enriching his point-of-view and nurturing his curiosity and collaborative spirit.

Trained at Montreal School of Gemology with a specialization in diamond evaluation, Victor believes in crafting covetable investment pieces for both special occasions and everyday wear. His key inspirations include Oscar Wilde’s provocative and elegant charm, and the poetic universality of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s Little Prince. Strength, sensuality, confidence, and intensity are equally important aspects of humanity to Victor, and this heady mix of influences informs his ability to blend high-octane glamour with a contemporary, gender-neutral edge. Here, you’ll find shapes from stunning spikes to sweeping, asymmetrical lines existing in harmony, yet they each speak to an individual’s specific, powerful taste.

Each Bena Jewelry piece is designed and handcrafted in the brand’s Montréal atelier, using only the finest ethically-sourced materials and gems; and Victor’s skill in 3D modeling techniques allows for an exacting exploration of the jewelry-making process. This is why, since its launch in 2019, the brand has become a destination for custom and ready-to-wear clients seeking refined jewelry that’s rich in emotion and charged with the wearer’s unique charisma.
