The brand in a nutshell
Anne-Marie and Catherine are the inseparable friends who founded the atelier b brand in 2009. Their sustainable and minimalist clothing collections for men, women and children are gently made in Montreal from natural fiber textiles. From a workshop in their apartment when they were still students to their studio-boutique in Mile End, the project keeps growing with them. The key values of slow design have remained central to each of the decisions made by the two friends. Moreover, their circular economy project has made the brand the first in Canada to have zero-waste manufacturing. Their end of life collection program for atelier b clothing, in addition to the quality guarantee and the repair service, shows the concern the two friends have for the life cycle of each garment created in their workshop.
atelier b is multiplicity, gatherings and family.
These are refined, original and authentic collections where the products respect the traditions of textiles and clothing while innovating in terms of sustainable development. It is a quiet force that marches slowly - slowly but surely - while always keeping its sense of play and celebration.

La marque en quelques mots
Anne-Marie et Catherine sont les amies inséparables qui ont fondé en 2009 la marque atelier b. Leurs collections de vêtements durables et minimalistes pour homme, femme et enfant sont fabriquées doucement à Montréal à partir de textiles de fibres naturelles. D’un atelier à même leur appartement alors qu’elles étaient encore étudiantes jusqu’à leur atelier-boutique du Mile End, le projet a grandit avec elles. Les valeurs clés du slow design sont restées centrales lors de chacune des décisions prises par les deux amies. D'ailleurs, leur projet d'économie circulaire a fait de la marque la première au Canada à avoir une production manufacturière zéro déchet. Leur programme de collecte de vêtements atelier b en fin de vie, complémentaire à la garantie de qualité et au service de réparation, montre le souci des deux amies pour le cycle de vie de chaque vêtement créé à leur atelier.
atelier b c’est la multiplicité, le rassemblement et la famille.
Ce sont des collections raffinées, originales et authentiques où les produits respectent les traditions du textile et de la confection tout en innovant au niveau du développement durable. C’est une force tranquille qui avance doucement, lentement mais surement, tout en sachant garder le sens du jeu et de la fête.
