Meet the Artist
Art and Me
I've been expressing myself through art since I was just a few years old, so art has always been an important part of my life.
I got a degree in graphic design and went to art school in Montreal before going all-in on my art career.
As someone with AuDHD, selling my art is a great way for me to overcome the struggle of working a traditional job while also allowing me to help other neurodivergent people feel seen.
My Process
Buying my first tablet had a significant impact on my art process.
I work on an iPad air and use Procreate for all my art. Working digitally means I can easily tweak my art and use tons of interesting colors without carrying a case full of markers and a sketchbook.
My fiancé & his part
Grams Illustration is my dream and takes an enormous amount of work that I would not be able to achieve by myself.
My fiancé Neil does so much for Grams. He built the website, makes sure I don't lose money by doing the inventory and all the number stuff that I do not understand at all. He comes to all my markets (which takes up most of our weekends), he helps me read emails and contracts; in brief, he does an enormous amount of work.
He's the one who made sure I was able to quit my job and go full-time even when I was making zero money.
He supports me every day, through the good and the bad, and I'm so grateful to have him in my life.
Thank you so much for everything you do my love, I couldn't do it without you. ❤️
