In collaboration with the Canadian International Organ Competition, we present the ultimate silent horror cinema double bill, both presented twice in one night. 6pm & 9:30pm. Up first is NOSFERATU accompanied by Morgan Paige Melbourne on piano, Ivan Fabara on cello, Parker Bert on percussion & Meghan Fleet, soprano. (plus a short film accompanied by Shayne Gryn on piano) Then, THE CABINET OF DR. CALIGARI accompanied solo on organ by very special guest, Alcée Chriss III. He holds one of most prestigious organist positions in North America, at Trinity Church Wall Street, New York City.
As always, the films will be projected as vintage reels in a stunning old gothic church which only adds to the ambiance. Just for you, we have secured versions of these films that people saw in the early 1920s. Please arrive early, whether you buy your tickets in advance or at the door. (doors open at 5pm) Popcorn, sweets and drinks available.
