Canada's national art museum sits on Sussex Drive above the Ottawa River, in a glass-and-granite building with the Maman spider sculpture outside. It shows Canadian, Indigenous, European and American art in large permanent galleries plus a rotating program of major exhibitions. Entry is free on Thursday evenings.
