Écrivain et artiste, Domingo Cisneros est métis du nord mexicain (tepehuane). Il est né en 1942 à Monterrey, Nuevo León. Arrivé au Québec en 1968, il a enseigné au Collège Manitou, vécu dans les Hautes-Laurentides avant de s'éloigner en Matawinie où il vit depuis vingt-cinq ans.
