Né en 1964, Gabriel Landry a grandi au Vieux Poste, c’est-à-dire à Pointe- Parent, petit village du bout de la route 138, et vit depuis longtemps à Montréal. Il enseigne la littérature et la grammaire au Collège de Maisonneuve. En 2007, il a fait paraître L’œil au calendrier aux éditions Québec Amérique.
