Gabriel-Pierre Ouellette est originaire du Québec et il a enseigné au collège de Valleyfield de 1962 à 1996. Trois de ses scénarios ont été primés lors de concours de Radio-Canada. Il a aussi publié un essai sur le peintre Reynald Piché chez Hurtubise HMH et un roman à l’Hexagone, Les Oriflammes noires.
