SHOCKTOBER PRESENTS! A snake-goddess supernatural comedy horror from the director of ‘The Devils’.

EN >>

Ken Russell’s finest work, in my humble opinion! I first watched this supernatural comedy horror at a sleepover when I was 8 years old, and it was… formative. A crazy fun vampire / local snake-god legend romp starring the incredible Amanda Donohoe as the seductive Lady Sylvia Marsh – a lady of leisure and leather, at home in fur or fangs.

Lair of the White Worm follows the residents in and around a rural English manor that are tormented by an ancient priestess after the skull of a serpent that she worships is unearthed by an archaeologist. The film also stars Hugh Grant, in perhaps his most fopp-sih role, and Lord D’Ampton, alsongside Peter Capadli (Doctor Who / The Thick of It) as the archaeologist.

This film has everything you want from a Ken Russell movie – nuns, strap-ons, serpents, boyscouts, tits and gore!
