Yoel Diaz presents his Cuban Jazz Quartet: CUBARTETO.
After more than 28 years on the Canadian and Quebec music scene, he returns to delight us with rich, powerful new compositions dedicated to Cuban jazz.
A pianist, composer, arranger, percussionist, teacher and musical director, Yoel Diaz brings together the vibrant rhythms and traditions of Cuba with the freedom and sophistication of jazz. With CUBARTETO, he creates an energetic and deeply expressive sound that moves effortlessly between Afro-Cuban rhythms, jazz improvisation and contemporary influences.
An evening with CUBARTETO is an invitation to experience the richness, energy and spirit of Cuban jazz — live at the Hub.
