About

Celebrate the rich musical traditions of Ireland with Celtic Roots: A Celebration of Irish & Celtic Music, a vibrant concert experience filled with heart, heritage, and high energy performance. Since 2016, this beloved production has delighted audiences with its blend of classic and modern Irish songs, engaging storytelling, and the electrifying footwork of championship Irish dancers.

At the centre of the show is River North, the acclaimed duo of Heather Christine and Matt Zaddy. Known for their warm stage presence and soaring harmonies, River North brings a fresh, contemporary touch to timeless Celtic favourites. Their performances have been featured on CBC Radio 2, and their original music has earned national recognition and a combined 200,000+ plays on Spotify. Joining them onstage is an exceptional lineup of guest musicians who bring the Celtic tradition to life: • Brigit O’Regan, the dynamic “Violin Girl,” known for her high energy fiddle performances, with over 18 Million Youtube views • Jacob McCauley, an award winning bodhrán player celebrated across North America. He has performed with The Chieftains, Glass Tiger, the Fitzgeralds, and many others. • Michael McAllister, tin whistle and flute specialist, performing regularly with Celtic ensembles across the Greater Toronto Area. • Dean Aivaliotis, pianist, arranger, and producer. He is presently the touring keyboardist for indigenous Juno awarding winning singer songwriter Aysanabee.

Together, this ensemble creates an atmosphere that is both nostalgic and exhilarating, performing beloved songs made famous by The Dubliners, The Irish Rovers, Celtic Woman, The Chieftains, and more. With its joyful spirit, multi generational appeal, and irresistible musicality, Celtic Roots offers an unforgettable night of Irish culture and celebration. Perfect for families, music lovers, and anyone looking to share in the magic of Celtic tradition.
