Linda Standing is a multidisciplinary, self‑taught artist whose creativity has been nurtured since childhood. Drawing inspiration from her inner world, imagined rural landscapes, and Amish family history, her work reflects the traditions of folk art icons such as Grandma Moses and Maud Lewis. Her vibrant, colourful scenes portray simpler times and the daily life of pioneer ancestors, filled with expressive human and animal activity. Her love of farm life—especially chickens and sheep—shines through each piece.
