Ya Saheb Al Tair, El-Funoun Dance Troupe

CANADA: GET READY TO WELCOME 30 DANCERS FROM PALESTINE THIS FALL For the first time in Canada, El-Funoun Palestinian Popular Dance Troupe is bringing a one-hour production that tells the Palestinian story and explores the profound relationship between people, memory and land through dance, music and choreography. “Ya Saheb Al Tair” (The Bird Owner) features over 30 performers from Palestine who have spent years training and producing music to bring this production to life. This historic Canadian tour is organized by Mosaic of Cultures, in collaboration with local community organizations, including the Canadian Palestinian Foundation of Quebec (CPFQ), the Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM), and the Association of Palestinian Arab Canadians (APAC).
