About
Canada's most visited museum faces Parliament Hill from the Gatineau side of the Ottawa River, in Douglas Cardinal's curving limestone building. The Grand Hall holds a forest of Pacific Coast totem poles, while the Canadian History Hall and the First Peoples Hall tell the country's story from the earliest times to today. It also houses the Canadian Children's Museum.
